Festive
lights, music in old churches, cuisine, and international shopping ...as
we meander the quaint and picturesque streets of Old Europe decorated
in their finest glory. Treat yourself to a trip back in time, as we
browse the famous holiday Christmas Markets of Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, and France. The Bavarian Alps revel in a true Old World
setting with sleigh bells ringing, picturesque chalets warmly
twinkling, and tables laden with holiday foods and a vast array of hand
make treasures and decorations.

The European Christmas Markets --
outdoor paths in fairytale towns and villages lined with stalls filled
with Christmas trinkets, hand-crafted gifts, home-cooked foods, festive
lights, and lots of cheer, folly and music !! Our tour takes you to
four, fairytale, Old World Europe countries where Christmas is
celebrated as the highpoint of the year.

Christmas Markets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland -
The traditions of the Christmas markets date back to the middle ages
and turn German, Swiss, Austrian, and French towns and cities into
festive fairy tale type scenes. Christmas markets are held during the
four weeks of Advent and include booths and stalls set up in town
centers with plenty of great Christmas decorations and entertainment.
Huge Christmas trees are erected and the shops sell Christmas
decorations, ornaments, wooden toys, nutcrackers, figurines, gifts,
clothing, candles, foods, local arts and crafts and a lot more. Bands
and choral groups entertain shoppers with favorite Christmas carols and
hymns. You can buy fresh gingerbread, or a whole gingerbread house,
delight in the smells of mulled wine, spices and roasted chestnuts and
almonds and sausages as well as a wide array of other foods and drinks.
Each German Christmas Market has its own personality and you are sure
to find plenty of Christmas treasures to bring home as well as be able
to revel in the Christmas atmosphere that Germany offers. Somewhere in
the center of town, often around an old church, little wooden booths
are set up and vendors sell all kinds of good things: Christmas
decorations, candles, and handmade crafts. You'll also find yummy
food...like chocolate or wurst with bread or warm drinks like Glühwein
(a warm red wine with spices). Often, markets also have music
performers or ice skating. The market is typically open daily through
December and it is especially lovely in the evenings

Christmas Market in Strasbourg, France...
This is one of the largest Christmas markets in France, and the setting
in front of Strasbourg Cathedral is breathtaking. In its 431st year,
this market in Alsace is the oldest Christmas market in France. Be sure
to visit La Petite France, a cozy neighborhood of timbered fairy-tale
buildings with Christmas shops and a gingerbread bakery. is knows for
having the finest Marche de Noel in France for good reason. It's so
large that it takes up blocks of the city and seems to spout new roots
in some of the most beautiful locations in the center of the Strasbourg
- which is so lovely that the entire city has been deemed a World
Heritage Site.

HIGHLIGHTS
* Enjoy one of Strasbourg's finest restaurants while visiting France.
* Explore European Christmas markets in Innsbruck, Strasbourg and Bern.
* Experience the holiday spirit in four different countries.
* Shop for the famous woodcarvings in Oberammergau.
* Enjoy a traditional cheese fondue dinner while in Switzerland.

OUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Overnight Flight
We board our overnight, international flight from the Washington, D.C. area to Munich...

Day 2: Oberammergau, Germany - Tour Begins
one of the most famous characters in the world, is always linked to
Romania. More precisely, with Transylvania (a Romanian province), which
is believed to be a foggy mysterious land, with lots of vampires and
castles. .

Dracula History... The real
history tells us that Vlad the Impaler (in Romanian: Vlad Tepes) ruled
in Wallachia for three times (1448; 1456-1462; 1476), the last reign
ending with his death. Vlad Tepes was born in November or December
1431, in the fortress of Sighisoara, Romania. His father, Vlad Dracul,
at that time appointed military governor of Transylvania by the emperor
Sigismund, had been inducted into the Order of the Dragon about one
year before. The order - which could be compared to the Teutonic Order
of Knights - was a semi-military and religious society, originally
created in 1387 by the Holy Roman Emperor and his second wife, Barbara
Cilli. The main goal of such a secret fraternal order of knights was
mainly to protect the interests of Catholicism, and to crusade against
the Turks. There are different reasons why this society is so important
to us. First, it provides an explanation for the name "Dracula;"
"Dracul" in Romanian language, means "Dragon", and the boyars of
Romania, who knew of Vlad Tepes' father induction into the Order of the
Dragon, decided to call him "Dracul." "Dracula," a diminutive which
means "the son of Dracul," was a surname to be used ultimately by Vlad
Tepes. A second major role of this Order as a source of inspiration for
Stoker's evil character is the Order's official dress - a black cape
over a red garment - to be worn only on Fridays.

Tour Highlights:
·
Dracula's Castle in Transylvania - built in accordance to Bram Stoker's
imagination, on Borgo Pass where the Irish writer placed the castle of
Count Dracula; accommodation, candle lit dinner and a camp fire
complete with mysterious tales surrounding The Legend of Dracula.

·
Ritual Killing of the Living Dead - Help a haunted spirit to gain his
peace - attend the ritual of killing a strigoi. Masquerade Party
afterwards to celebrate the victory or recover from defeat.

·
Sighisoara Medieval Citadel - the best preserved and still inhabited
medieval citadel in Europe with a UNESCO World Heritage status, Vlad
the Impaler's birth place

· Bran Castle - also known as Dracula's Castle, a legendary Transylvanian fortress dating back to 1377

· Witch trial - the famous medieval Knights of Sibiu we'll introduce you to medieval rituals.

· Snagov Monastery - where, according to the legend, Vlad was buried after his assassination

· Poienari Fortress - Vlad's old and faithful citadel perched high on a cliff, more than 1000 stairs to climb.

·

in his windswept tower in Bistrita Citadel and make the acquaintance of
a unique spider web painter in Medias!

· Vampire Treats: indulge yourself with a Vampire dinner to find out why it's worth killing for a meal!

OUR ITINERARY:

DAY 1, Wednesday, October 29, Bucharest
THE LEGEND BEGINS Our English speaking guide connects with us at the
Bucharest Airport and we're off to Snagov to visit Snagov Monastery
where, according to the legend, Vlad the Impaler was buried after his
assassination. The monastic establishment is located on a small island
of Snagov Lake so we'll also enjoy a boat trip across the lake. Tonight
we celebrate with a welcome dinner in one of Bucharest's top
traditional restaurants.

Day 2, Thursday, October 30, Bucharest - Targoviste - Sinaia - Poiana Brasov
Morning
drive to Targoviste, former capital of Walachia County situated on the
right bank of Ialomita River, to visit the ruins of Vlad Tepes old
court. Then it's off to Sinaia, the pearl of mountain resorts in
Romania. Here we will explore the main point of attraction, the royal
Peles Castle . Built in 1873, the castle has 160 rooms, all of them
opulently decorated in leather and wood. Peleş Castle is one of the
best preserved and the most beautiful royal residences in Europe.

Tonight
we stay in Poiana Brasov. Situated at the foot of Postavaru Mountain ,
Poiana Brasov is surrounded by dense pinewood forests in a magnificent,
mountainous natural setting and it is the most sophisticated winter
resort in Romania. We dine medieval style tonight, in an outstanding 4*
restaurant.

Day 3, Friday, October 31, Poiana Brasov - Bran - Sighisoara....HALLOWEEN
We
arrive today at Transylvania's symbol, Bran Castle. The edifice owes
its fame both to its unique charm and to the myth Bram Stoker created
around Dracula. Documentary evidence of the castle dates back as far as
1377. Close to the castle there is a shrine set in the wall of a
mountain which once sheltered her heart. Our next stop is the Medieval
Saxon City of Brasov. The most famous landmark of Brasov is the Black
Church , the largest gothic edifice in South - Eastern Europe...Then we
visit Sighisoara Medieval Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site,.
Sighisoara still stands as one of Europe 's most beautiful and still
inhabited fortified cities and is the place where Vlad the Impaler,
known as Dracula, was born. Tonight get ready for the ultimate
Halloween Party.

ULTIMATE HALLOWEEN PARTY TONIGHT:
-
The Halloween Party is without a doubt one of the most remarkable
events anyone could experience in Romania. The flavour of the Romanian
cuisine mingled with the melodious folk songs, unique events and
unexpected surprises will prove that every legend has a little bit of
truth in it!

- The guest's are welcomed with a traditional
Romanian drink prepared especially for the cold season, then the Master
of Ceremony, one of Dracula's many subjects, will introduce the guests
to the programme of the evening making sure every one will meet his
fate!

HIGHLIGHTS of the Halloween Party will include:
-
The "Witch Trial" reveals the medieval rituals of judgment for a witch
testing the courage of the guests. Should anyone dare to handle the
sword and fight along with the knights to save the damned woman, will
be anointed as a knight.

- Visit by Dracula, the Count... His
majesty will join us and even make a few confessions about his wedding.
"Dracula's Wedding" is a show set on stage by a professional band of
actors.

- Midnight moon watch and countdown... Close to midnight
will all step out to watch the moon and count down the minutes to 12
o'clock, a time of powerful magic when all bad wishes come true! (let's
just say that your neighbours' cat won't bother you anymore). A glass
of champagne and the traditional Rest in Peace song will delight us
afterwards.

- Halloween cake, shaped as a coffin and delicious
as fresh blood. This might just be the first coffin you have tried and
you will like it!

- The Count's witch will be at your disposal.
She'll open her office for you to be able to purchase After Life
Insurances (something we know for sure you will use!)

- Costume Party and Prizes...
The Best Female and Male Costumes will receive awards (Romanian genuine
handcrafts to remember). The Count has also a gift prepared for the
Best Howl at the Moon (after a glass of strong red wine boiled with
cinnamon you won't lack courage or strength!)

- Dancing...
The DJ will then take over the party! Devilish dancing to the dawn. The
last person standing will receive a bottle of wine courtesy of the
house and Romanian tips on how to handle the hang over.

DAY4, Saurday, November1st....Sighisoara Bistrita
Stroll
around the streets of the old citadel; admire the Clock Tower,
concentrating Sighisoara's history, the beautiful Church on the Hill
and the unique Covered Stairs. You can even enjoy lunch in the very
house where Vlad the Impaler was borne, turned today into a cosy
restaurant - "Casa Vlad Dracul" Restaurant. You'll then find the answer
to a question I'm sure is eating you up inside: Does Dracula have
descendants? Meet Misiuga, the Baron of Dracula who looks remarkably
young for an 84 year old, and be welcomed into his windswept tower,
Cooper Tower in Bistrita Citadel; you'll see an interesting puppet
exhibition, receive a garlic wreath and a piece of good advice from the
baron himself: to stay away from Dracula's Castle in Borgo Pass! In
Bistrita you can also visit Golden Crown Restaurant and taste the very
meal Jonathan Harker, the main character of Dracula Novel, served when
in Bistrita Citadel. Next stop is Dracula's Castle in Borgo Pass, a 3*
hotel which was built in accordance to Bram Stokers imagination. After
visiting Dracula's coffin you'll enjoy a candle lit dinner at the
castle followed by a fire camp near by.

DAY5, Sunday, November2nd, Bistrita Citadel Turda
Morning
drive to visit the city of Cluj Napoca to enjoying a city tour
revealing beautiful medieval buildings such as Saint Andrews Cathedral
you can also delight yourself with the best Turkish Kebab. It's hard to
believe, but here in the heart of Transylvania you can find the best
Turkish kebab, that we strongly recommend for your lunch, in spite of
the irony - a Turkish specialty in Vlad Dracul's country, given the
fact that he was the worst enemy the Turks could have had. Optional:
How about a genuine Dracula tattoo? Should you wish to permanently
remember your trip to Transylvania, you have your chance. From Cluj
drive to Turda, a small town with an intimate medieval atmosphere, home
to one of the oldest Salt Mine in Romania. We stay tonight in a 4*
hotel, often referred to as a medieval fantasy with beds. Delight
yourself with a vampire menu for dinner, a delicious reason to travel
to Transylvania! Still, an evening to fear, you'll attend the killing
of a vampire; you'll be part of the crowd seeking to take the bloody
creature to a special place where the ritual can begin!

DAY 6, Monday, November 3rd, Turda - Sibiu
Prepare
to descend to the heart of one of the biggest saline in Romania, the
Salt Mines of Turda, with impressive halls named after kings and
queens. The Salt Mines are the place where you'll put your existence to
test! The Mine ends in a narrow tunnel at the end of which a mirror is
placed. Should you see your reflection in the mirror, you will know you
still have a soul to worry about! Drive next to Medias. Here you'll
become acquainted with a unique artist, the only one in the world who
uses spider webs for his paintings. Evening in Sibiu , the European
Cultural Capital for 2007. The fortified town of Sibiu has been the
centre of Romania's German minority since medieval times and it is one
of Romania's most beautiful cities. Tonight we stay at a 4* hotel, and
enjoy a traditional Saxon dinner in one of the best restaurants in
Sibiu.

DAY 7, Tuesday, November 4th, Sibiu - Bucharest
Our last Romanian morning. Enjoy a morning visit of Poienari, to visit
the ruins of Vlad's old and faithful fortress. The fortress located
close to Fagaras Mountains, on a canyon formed by Arges Rives is
perched high on a cliff, in fact a steep precipice. To visit the
impressive fortress and admire the unique and breathless view from the
top we.ll need to climb over 1000 stairs. Late afternoon arrival in
Bucharest, past 5:00 pm.
<p style="border: 2px solid rgb(32, 105, 173); padding: 10px; background: rgb(238, 247, 254) none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; width: 520px; color: black; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; font-family: Georgia;" times="" new="" roman="" ,times,serif;="" font-size:20px;font-style:italic;="" letter-spacing:0.02em;="">LAND PACKAGE Cost for this "once in a lifetime" trip is $2402 * **

* double room accommodations

** plus 4% processing fee

DISCOUNT: Register a group of 5 or more and receive a $75 per person discount.

Single Supplement: $437

BUY TICKETS HERE

R/T Airfare from Washington Dulles to Bucharest, Romania at the time of this write-up was $642

DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR GUARANTEED SPACE: April 30, 2008

DEPOSIT: Reserve and hold your space with just a $250 deposit
<p style="border: 2px solid rgb(32, 105, 173); padding: 10px; background: rgb(238, 247, 254) none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; width: 520px; color: black; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; font-family: Georgia;" times="" new="" roman="" ,times,serif;="" font-size:20px;font-style:italic;="" letter-spacing:0.02em;="">WHAT'S INCLUDED
- English speaking guide services, experienced in escorting Dracula themed tours.
- Accommodation: 4 nights in 3* hotels, 2 nights in 4* hotels
-

are Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club. There is often
an 8 to 12% commission for credit card charges. It is often cheaper to
use your credit card at an ATM to get money.
* Phone card if you plan on phoning home
* Baggage:
* Two pieces of baggage are allowed up to 50 pounds plus one carry on
* The weight limit for internal flights in Peru is often 30kg.

WHAT TO TAKE :
You
will be on the move a great deal, so our general advice is to pack as
lightly as possible. And old rule of thumb has always been to lie out
what you think you will need, put half of it back, and you will still
have too much.
At the higher altitude inn the Andes Mountains the
temperature can feel cool especially at night. You should pack for both
a hot climate as well as an autumn type climate. On July and August is
dry season but there might be some rains in the mountains so you should
include a rain gear.
We recommend using a duffel bag or backpack.
Suitcases are not to appropriate. A small daypack is also essential.
The following list is a general guideline:

SUGGESTED LIST TO TRAVEL:

ITEMS
Insect repellent
Rain jacket
Toiletries
Hat
Battery
operated alarm clock (there are a lot of early mornings you need to be
up, we have found your own time piece helps even if there are clocks in
rooms some may not have alarms.)
Water bottle

CLOTHING
Light pullover or sweatshirt
Warmer sweater or polar jacket or polar fleece
4 shirts, 4 t-shirts
2 pairs of shorts / skirts
3 pairs of long pants
Underwear and sleepwear
Thongs or flip-flops
Walking shoes or hiking shoes
Towel and swim wear
Thermal underwear.

OPTIONAL
Camera
Playing cards or other favorite games
Reading / writing material
Sunglasses
Baseball cap
Sandals
*Travel insurance is highly recommended!

<p style="border: 2px solid rgb(32, 105, 173); padding: 10px; background: rgb(238, 247, 254) none repeat scroll 0% 50%; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; width: 520px; color: black; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; font-family: Georgia;" times="" new="" roman="" ,times,serif;="" font-size:20px;font-style:italic;="" letter-spacing:0.02em;="">IMPORTANT International Flight info:
International flight is not included. Please

The Inca Trail is the classic trek originating from Cusco, taking in
Andean culture, and archaeology. Set in dramatic mountain scenery, it
is a mix of mysterious ancient ruins and the excitement of high Andean
landscapes. The trail was a royal Inca highway linking Cusco with the
religious citadel of Machu Picchu. The city became lost to the jungle
to be rediscovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. Some of the trail has only
been rediscovered in the last two decades. Now you can retrace the
steps of the ancient Inca to encounter the splendor of Machu Picchu. We
ensure its uniqueness amongst a multitude of tour companies, by our
attention to detail, and striving to provide the highest standards of
cuisine, equipment, and personnel.

Day 4 CUSCO - HUAYLLAMBAMBA
(B/L/D) An early start takes us with tourist bus to Km 82 (2,650
meters) where we collect the porters to commence walking, via Urubamba
Valley. From km 82 we cross the raging Vilcanota River. Walking in the
shadow of snow-capped Mount Veronica (5,680 meters) we continue the
hike, stopping for lunch near the Cusichaca River, and admiring the
Inca ruins at Llactapata. We complete 5 to 6 hours of gentle hiking by
reaching the first campsite by the river at Huayllabamba (3,000 meters).

Day 5 Huayllabamba - Pacaymayo
(B/L/D) This second day is the most arduous of our journey. After a
hearty breakfast we commence by ascending to Warmihuausca (Dead
Women's) pass (4,200 meters). This change of altitude means that we
will pass through three separate ecological zones during the day:
Quechua, Yunga and Puna (from valleys with trees, through high pasture,
to arid grassless areas short of the snow line). The ascent of over
1,200 meters to the first pass earns magnificent views. Descending from
this superb vantage point we pass waterfalls before making camp at
Pacaymayu. (3,550 meters).

Day 6 Pacaymayu - Wiinaywayna
(B/L/D) The day starts with the pass of Runkuracay (3,900 meters) where
we see an Inca watchtower. Then we continue to the Inca ruins at
Sayacmarca (a small maze like ruin built above a sheer cliff) and,
passing through a rock tunnel, we reach Phuyupatamarca (City above the
clouds) (3,600 meters), a beautiful set of linked stone baths still
supplied by mountain streams. From this area, we should achieve views
of Mt. Salkantay (6271 meters), one of two most sacred peaks to the
Incas. The descent down from the third pass (3,700 meters) is by a
continuous set of steps (over 2,300 of them), into cloud forest, to our
last campsite. From here a short walk takes us to the impressive ruins
of Wiñaywayna (2,600 meters), curving around a steep valley with walled
terraces hanging the contours. The extra relaxation time provided here
allows us to recoup our strength to make an early start the next day
and maximize the experience of Machu Picchu.

Day 7 Winaywayna - Machu Picchu
(B) A pre-dawn breakfast allows us to ascend to Intipuncu (the
sun-gate) 2,750 meters where we may observe the sunrise over Machu
Picchu (2,450 meters) After taking in this memorable view we descend to
the ruins for a guided tour, starting well before the crowds arrive by
train from Cusco. There should be 6 to 7 hours available to spend in
this unique archaeological site, allowing ample opportunities to
explore on your own. Those not yet tired of heights might like to climb
Huaynapicchu for an unparalleled view of the lost city of the Incas.
Afternoon train returns to Cusco. Optional visit to Aguas Calientes Hot
springs (extra charge 2$ per person) before the train ride back to
Cusco. Lunch and Dinner on own arrangements. Guesthouse in Cusco- Cusco
Plaza 1 or similar.

Day 8 Cusco

by the famous archaeologist, Dr Louis Leakey, uncovered some of the
earliest remains of fossil hominids at Olduvai. Seventeen years after
the first discovery of human forms, Leakey's wife, Mary, discovered the
unmistakable fossilized footprints of a human ancestor who had walked
along a riverbank three million years ago. Since then, excavators
working in Olduvai have found skeletal remains of a number of ancient
hominids.

Designated as a World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro
Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. An
estimated 25,000 large mammals make it, along with the Serengeti, the
principal attraction on the Northern Tanzanian Safari Circuit. This
cross-section of wildlife is as diverse as you will find, dispersed
amongst an amazing array of ecosystems within this natural
amphitheater. It is home to one of the few remaining populations of
black rhino in Tanzania and just about every other East African mammal.
Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge B,L,D.

Day 9 (Sept. 15) : Ngorongoro/ Arusha/Departure
Another

August 7 - We board our flight from Dulles International for an overnight flight to Madrid

Day 2 - Fri., August 8 - ARRIVAL IN MADRID
We
arrive and are transferred to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to
start exploring lively Madrid. Tonight, we meet our Tour Director at a
trip welcome meeting and enjoy an included dinner. (D)

Day 3 - Sat. August 9 - MADRID
Not
only is Madrid the capital of Spain, but because it is situated 2,180
feet above sea level, the Spanish rightly say it is the nearest thing
to heaven. This morning, enjoy the main highlights on our included
guided sightseeing excursion. Later, maybe join an optional excursion
to El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen. (B)

Day 4 - Sun. August 10 - MADRID-SARAGOSSA-BARCELONA
This
morning enjoy vistas of the Spanish countryside as we drive northeast
to Saragossa, situated on the banks of the River Ebro, for a short
visit. Later, we head towards Catalonia's lively and beautiful capital,
Barcelona. (B,D)

Day 5 - Mon. August 11 - BARCELONA
Sightseeing
with a Local Guide includes a drive around Montjuich to see the Olympic
Stadium and a great panoramic view of the port and city. The drive
continues to the city center to Plaza Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia to
admire the greatness and eccentricity of Gaudi's architectural
masterpieces in the Houses Battlo and Mila and the Sagrada Familia
(entrance fees not included). (B)

Day 6 - Tue. August 12 - BARCELONA
Today,
enjoy the included visit to Montserrat, situated 4,055 feet above sea
level in a mountain range composed of strikingly pink conglomerate, a
form of sedimentary rock and site of a Benedictine abbey which hosts
the Virgin of Montserrat Sanctuary, patron of Catalonia. The monastery
was founded in 1025 and the current sanctuary dates from 592. Time to
stroll around the picturesque squares and streets before your visit to
a local wine cellar to enjoy some wine tasting. A scenic drive along
the Costa Dorada brings you back to Barcelona for an overnight. (B)

Day 7 - Wed. August 13 - BARCELONA-AVIGNON
We
depart Spain this morning and head for the Spanish-French border.
En-route, visit Carcassonne, the most medieval-looking city in the
whole of France. Fortifications, ramparts, castle walls, drawbridges,
and much else from the Middle Ages are still well preserved and
certainly worth seeing. Later, overnight in Avignon. (B,D)

Day 8 - Thu. August 14 - AVIGNON. EXCURSION TO AIX-EN-PROVENCE
This
morning we visit the Roman amphitheater in Arles, the most famous of
all the Provence towns, home to Van Gogh and Gaugain, and known the
world over through the paintings of Van Gogh. This afternoon is
dedicated to Aix-en-Provence, one of France's most elegant cities and
home to Cezanne. Explore its center on foot, stroll along shaded Cours
Mirabeau, admire its famous cafés and fountains, discover colorful
squares, or barter with the locals at the quaint flea market on Place
de Verdun. Also some wine tasting at a local cellar. Return to
overnight in Avignon. (B)

Day 9 - Fri. August 15 - AVIGNON-PARIS
We
start off our day with an included visit of the Palace of the Popes,
seat of the papacy from 1309 to 1377 instead of Eternal Rome. Later,
free time to explore the center of Avignon and view its famous St.
Bénézet Bridge. In the afternoon we board the TGV train grande vitesse
for our journey to Paris. (B)

Day 10 - Sat. August 16 - PARIS
Included
sightseeing with a Local Guide starts with an inside visit to Notre
Dame Cathedral, then on to many of the best known Parisian sights: La
Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower, the
Pyramid near the Louvre , the Invalides, and Champs Elysées. Optional
excursions are also available to see the most famous Parisian sights.
To celebrate the success of our tour, a French farewell dinner might be
just the ticket. (B)

Day 11 - Sun. August 17 - We say Farewell to Paris as we head home today.
